What is quantitative research?

Quantitative research is about gathering numerical data that can be converted into numbers. Quantitative research also involves measuring the incidence of various views which is used to explore some findings further information. Examples of a quantitative research are (online questionnaires, on the streets and telephone interviews).

Secondary research is a method of collecting data that has already been gathered by someone else. It can also be a technique which is used to perform marketing research that can be useful for researchers to identify new topics rather than the one that has exhaustively been researched. Examples of a secondary research are getting information from a particular publication it could be the Sun newspaper, OK magazine, Metro and e.t.c.

Primary research is a conducting of research that is use to collect original data for marketer’s or someone who is working for a marketing design. Primary research can also be undertaken by a research that has gained some insight about an issue collected by a secondary data. Examples of a primary research are getting information from a first person point of view it could be doing an interview or answering public questions.

What is a data gathering agency?

Data gathering agency is supplying information to different organizations. They are responsible for collecting and maintaining company specific data and operating data entry device. Examples of data gathering agency are counting (how many people watch a practical programmed), measuring (distance or weight), Timing ( speed a person runs ), comparing ( heart rates ) and Fundraising ( for an event ).

An audience research is a systematic and accurate way to find out about audience in the country or worldwide. There are two main types of audience research they are audience sizes and audience preferences. Audience sizes are the number of people listening to the station. It can also be a more useful concept with the average audience size for a particular time period that goes across every 24 hours of the day for example (the audiences can become more smaller then averaged from 6 am to midnight) this means that most people are asleep between midnight and 6 am.

Market research is a research that gathers and analyzes information about the moving of goods or services from producer to consumer. Market research processes data gathering an analysis to gain more information about customers and market competition which is use to plan campaign strategies and improve current products which diversify products within the brand. Examples of market research are mostly for a certain product that the company wants to sell well they research how well it was sold in the past, and how they can improve it with any certain additions to it.

What is production research?

A production research is a research that involves finding information that can be used to explore the many facets of a play. Examples of production research are many websites including those specifically used to find out about theatre productions and how successful they become overtime.
